Entertaining 8 -10 year olds

When Children reach the ripe old age of 8, they start to look at life differently.  Magic is no longer an unquestionable form of entertainment.  The magic must have a logical explanation? they question the fact that you are doing what should be impossible!

When I entertain ages 8 upwards I have an approach that is ' Okay you don't believe in magic then try and catch me out'  I feel the children enjoy this mini battle and are secretly being entetained along the way.

Illusions like the Headchopper (Below), the chinese linking rings, Mind reading & Handkerchief manipulation are just some of the effects I use when entertaining this age group.
